The Area of Welling
Welling is an area of the country within both the London Borough of Bexley and the county of Kent.
Recently local historians have worked out that the origin of the name ‘Welling’ likely originates from the word ‘Welwyn’ which means ‘place of the spring’. This is because there was an underground spring in Welling Corner.
Originally one of the villages on the main route between London and Kent, Welling is well connected to London and the surrounding areas by road and train. Although who wants to travel by train when you can hire a beautiful executive wedding car!
